WtEnergy Advanced Solutions Supports Hinojosa’s Paper Mill Modernization with SynTH® Gasification Technology

WtEnergy Advanced Solutions is proud to have contributed to the modernization of Hinojosa Packaging Group’s paper mill in Alquería de Aznar (Spain) by delivering the turnkey biomass and waste valorization system based on its SynTH® gasification technology.

The solution enables biomass and process residues generated within the paper mill to be converted into valuable thermal energy for the production process, reducing natural gas consumption, lowering CO₂ emissions, and supporting the decarbonization of paper manufacturing through a circular approach to resource management.

The project forms part of Hinojosa’s broader investment to increase production capacity while significantly improving the plant’s environmental performance, demonstrating how innovative gasification technologies can help industries combine sustainability, energy efficiency, and competitiveness.
